The Ironbridge WW2 Weekend
26th & 27th May 2018

Dale End Park, Ironbridge, Telford, Shropshire, TF8 7DW

Our event has grown rapidly over the past few years, from humble beginnings based in a local pub to an event which attracted around 10,000 visitors for the 2017 weekend.

Set in the stunning backdrop of the Ironbridge Gorge, we recreate the experience of life during WW2 on both the home front and in occupied Europe with civilian, Allied and Axis re-enactors.

This is a non-profit making, charity fundraising event in which we raise funds for the Pilgrim Bandits.  So far last year's event raised over £7000, with donations still to be collected.
The Pilgrim Bandits have the sole aim of using their unique training and experience to help and inspire wounded soldiers to live life to the full.

We hope to see you for a fabulous bank holiday weekend.

We will be hosting our annual “sponsored walk” (pub crawl) around Ironbridge, all in aid to promote the Ironbridge WW2 weekend, and continue to raise money for The Pilgrim Bandits.

Our organising committee will be in full period dress and uniforms, with even a few jeeps in attendance.

It will culminate in a 40’s themed talent show at The Malthouse Inn at around 12pm.
